SOMETHING DIFFERENT

I've been delivering motivational assemblies for a few years now but I tried something a little different on my JRSS visit to Springbank Primary Academy and Rowanfield Junior School in my local county of Gloucestershire today.

Instead of opening up the floor to questions from all year groups, I only allowed years 1 to 4 students the opportunity to ask questions so I could engage with the young people at the front of the room more. This allowed me the chance to answer more of the basic questions like "how many goals have you scored?" or "what team do you support?". I then went into each of the year 5 and 6 classes for a 20 minute Q&A session so I can go into more depth about my story. The brilliant questions from both schools allowed me to do this and I hope to return in the near future with JRSS.
